Privacy
Verbatim stores the minimum it needs to send you briefs and run your account. It does not sell or share your data and does not use advertising trackers.
What is stored
Your email address, your topics and watchlist, your plan, the dates of sign-ins and of the emails sent to you, and which quotes each email contained (so you never get the same one twice). Searches are counted against your daily limit for one day. Payment details are held by Stripe, never by Verbatim.
Where it is kept and who can see it
The service runs on a server hosted by Hetzner in the European Union. Email is sent through SendGrid. Payments are processed by Stripe. Cloudflare provides DNS. These are the only processors. Only Gerard Blokdyk at The Art of Service has access to the account data.
Audio
When you press Listen, your browser loads the episode directly from the podcast publisher’s host, which sees your IP address as it would in any podcast app.
Your choices
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. To delete your account and everything stored about you, write to support@theartofservice.com and it is done within seven days.
