What is Verbatim's refund and cancellation policy?
Verbatim Free costs nothing. Pro (USD 29 a month) and Team (USD 299 a month) renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Annual plans work the same way for the year. A Verbatim Advisory brief is refunded if any link is broken or any attribution is wrong. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.
Updated
The short version
- Cancel Pro or Team any time from your account
- You keep access until the end of the month or year you paid for

- Advisory: a broken link or a wrong attribution means a refund of that brief
- Anything else: write to support@theartofservice.com and a person answers
Framework
Cancel, keep, refund
Three plain rules cover every plan.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, open your account and choose Manage billing or cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge straight away. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then moves to Free, so your topics and Monday brief carry on.
When is a Verbatim Advisory refunded?
Every quote in a brief links to the second it was said. If any link is broken or any attribution is wrong, reply to the delivery email and that brief is refunded. A monthly brief can be cancelled any time from your account; the next brief is not charged.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
There is no trial because there is a Free plan: a Monday brief on 3 topics, search over the last 7 days and 10 searches a day, for as long as you like, with no card. Pro and Team are monthly or annual and can be cancelled any time.
Do you refund part of a month?
No. When you cancel Pro or Team, the next charge stops and you keep access to the end of the month or year you already paid for. If something has gone wrong with your account or billing, write to support@theartofservice.com and a person will look at it.
What if Verbatim Advisory gets something wrong?
Every quote in a brief links to the second it was said. If any link is broken or any attribution is wrong, reply to the delivery email and that brief is refunded. That promise is in the terms.
What are my rights under Australian law?
Nothing in this policy or the terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Verbatim is run by The Art of Service in Brisbane, Australia, and those rights apply to every plan.
Can prices change after I subscribe?
Prices can change with 30 days notice by email, as the terms say. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
